Moin Jonas, da sagst Du was. Ein paar ergänzende Gedanken: 1. Erfahrungsgemäß muss keine der Positionen im Unternehmen sitzen, wenn das Unternehmen Dienstleister und Freelancer richtig gut koordinieren kann (ist selten, aber gibt es). Und natürlich sollte die Kommunikation des Unternehmens nah am Unternehmen selbst sitzen. Spätestens in Krisenzeiten wird das essentiell. 2. SEO muss von allen Beteiligten als Teil der Arbeit angenommen und gelebt wird. 3. Alle Beteiligten müssen wissen, dass SEO kein Selbstzweck ist, sondern ein Mittel zum Erreichen von Unternehmens-/Organisationszielen (Umsatz, Gewinn, Weltfrieden). Die Arbeit endet daher nicht beim Ranking. Auch nicht die eines SEOs. 4. Es gibt tolle SEOs da draußen. Aber viele würde auch ich nicht einstellen, wenn ich Beratung für einen Kunden anbiete. Was bei solchen Pauschalaussagen leider immer ignoriert wird (sowohl von der Person, die die Aussage tätigt, als auch von der, die sie hört/liest): Jedes Unternehmen ist anders und jedes Geschäftsmodell stellt andere Anforderungen an Mitarbeiter (stark überzeichnet skizziert): ** <b>Affiliate-Bude</b>: Darf hohes Risiko gehen. Wenn die Seite abraucht kann eine neue aufgesetzt werden. Geschwindigkeit schlägt Qualität. SEO kann einziger Kanal sein. ** <b>Markenartikelhersteller</b>: Produkt steht im Mittelpunkt, Sales nachrangig. Die Domain ist für die Ewigkeit bestimmt. Risikominimierung und Brand-Building stehen im Vordergrund. ** <b>Shop</b>: Umsatz/Marge ist die Währung. Kanal ist egal, so lange er sich rechnet. Effizienz ist wichtig. Die Kanäle müssen sauber abgestimmt werden. SEO, SEA, Social müssen Hand in Hand gehen. ** <b>NGO</b>: Kein Problem an Links zu kommen. Aber: Alle Maßnahmen stehen unter hohem Kostendruck. Dazu kommt das Alter des Unternehmens und die gesamte Unternehmenskultur. Auch im Online Marketing wird ein Verkäufer von Party-Events risikofreudiger sein (müssen?) als ein traditionsbewusstes Unternehmen in Familienhand mit Produkten, die beim Kunden Vertrauen in die Marke voraussetzen. Eine Agentur braucht andere Menschen als eine reine Beratung oder ein produzierendes Unternehmen. b2b und b2c… Das ideale SEO-Team kann es also nicht geben und für manche(!) Unternehmen/Unternehmungen ist die schmutzige Seite/Denke vieler SEOs genau das richtige. Viele Unternehmen lassen sich auch zurecht von dieser Denke inspirieren, ohne selbst danach zu handeln. Und auch das ist richtig so. Ich finde Deine Aussage toll überspitzt. Wenn man sich einmal Gedanken macht, welchen Typus von SEO Du meinst und welche Aufgaben er erfüllen soll, dann ist sie auch absolut richtig. Auf der anderen Seite gibt es eine Menge Menschen die SEOs genannt werden, die diesem Typus nicht entsprechen und für die Aufgaben Deines SEO-Projektmanagers perfekt geeignet werden. Entscheidend ist glaube ich weniger die Vergangenheit, sondern die Möglichkeit eines Kandidaten sich auf veränderte Spielregeln und langfristiges Denken einzustellen. Eine Position in Deinem Unternehmen hast Du vergessen. Den Wasserträger des Projektmanagers. Die Person, die dem Strategen hilft die Strategie zu Umsetzung zu bringen. Die Programmierer zu <strike>treten</strike> zu motivieren, oder die Tickets in Konkurrenz zu anderen Disziplinen zu priorisieren. Die Arbeit der Pressemenschen nachzuhalten und die Texterarbeit zwar nicht zu kontrollieren, aber gelegentlich mit einem zweiten Blick zu besseren Ergebnissen zu helfen. Usw. Denn schließlich muss der Stratege sich auch um Strategie (Ausrichtung/Entwicklung der Seite, Unternehmenspolitik, Abstimmung der SEO-Arbeit mit dem Gesamtorganismus Unternehmen) kümmern können und soll nicht im reinen operativen Überwachen der Strategie gefangen bleiben. In größeren Organismen wird das schnell ein Problem.
