Is Search Engine Submission Necessary?

by Wendy Longley @ The Longley Group

The simple answer is no – search engine submission isn’t necessary. The majority of search engines nowadays (most notably Google) crawl and index pages by following links. The front desk – is your receptionist losing potential clients?

by Aegis Marketing Solutions @ Aegis Marketing Solutions

About 1,028,600 receptionists are answering phones for different business as you read this. With a 10% expected job outlook increase from 2014-2024 its a rapidly-growing profession. Why is the front desk so important? Your receptionist is the first person that a potential client, patient or lead talks to, but have you ever had time to actually listen to what your receptionist is saying? Thank you for calling.  When a receptionist is handling your phone calls, think about the days when you answered your first potential leads and sales. You were optimistic, maybe over promising things, but one thing was sure. You gave them the best sales pitch, the best support pitch and made a friend or at least a cold lead into a warm one. Call your office right now. Im serious. Call. Did your reception answer with “Hello?”.  Call back and fire them!…kidding. This is the first step in identifying exactly how much your receptionist cares about your brand and services. When hiring a front desk admin or receptionist, remember to explain to them just how important their job is and that they make the company look professional and caring. A proper greeting can go a long way. If you’re a dental practice make sure you set up a small script that identifies what you are offering. “Happy Dental Smiles, this is Tina how may I help you?” can go a long way. Improvise and try your own, you could even throw a sales pitch in there every once in a while when you’re doing specials or promotions. Assist people. Don’t help.    Being assisted just feels….better. Being helped is a bit of a downer, I just need assistance with this issue I am having. A great way to start doing QA on your front desk and employees is to use...

How to respond to a negative Yelp Review

by Aegis Marketing Solutions @ Aegis Marketing Solutions

1. Read the Review Carefully Few of us read each and every bit of online text on a word-by-word premise. An examination highlighted by the Washington Post calls attention to the way we process content. Historically, we moved gradually, starting with single word then onto the next, requiring significant investment to interpret meaning. Presently, we race from short sentence to short sentence, simply getting the highlights en route. In case you’re skimming through a negative survey, you could miss a great deal of information that could truly help you, including: The date of the occurrence being referred to The particular area the author is discussing The tone of the piece (interesting or truly irate) Names or portrayals of potential witnesses Elucidating expressions of the episode that occurred These are the details of the survey you can use to either shield your position or discredit the assault by and large. On the off chance that you react too rapidly without grabbing on this data, you could come across as though you’re not mindful of the issue. More regrettably, you could misuse a superb chance to reestablish your notoriety. In this way, when you’re perusing through that survey, go slowly and gradually. Take notes, if that helps you to back off, or read the remarks so anyone might hear. Whatever you need to do to make your mind truly dissect that arrangement of remarks will help you reach a just decision. 2. Research the Issue Ideally, an online survey wouldn’t come as a surprise. You’d be there, at the source, when the client lost confidence in the organization. You’d be sitting tight for the assault, and you’d have a reaction all prepared to go. Be that as it may, as one little entrepreneur, tells the Washington Post, 80 percent of grievances go to the notification of...
