For the last few years, we’ve helped a number of real estate websites get more organic traffic from Google. NOTE: This client chose to remain private, but you can check our case studies for more results. We decided to put together this post to round up our tops “real estate SEO” strategies that have helped to achieve explosive results. SEO is incredibly competitive in the real estate niche. The SERPs are dominated by authority sites like Zillow, Realtor and Trulia. However, small sites can compete by understanding searcher intent and choosing keywords the big sites aren’t. The easiest way to illustrate the keyword selection process is with a … Continue reading Real Estate SEO: Actionable Tips to Implement TODAY

Step by Step Process to Find Anyone’s Email Address
by Ryan Stewart @ WEBRIS
Fri Aug 12 17:27:01 PDT 2016
We pitch over 5,000 reporters, journalists and bloggers each month for clients. Our data shows personalized emails have a 3x response and success rate. “Personalization” isn’t just getting a name. It’s finding the right person in the organization and matching it with the right email. I’m going to give you the process we use to find that contact information. It doesn’t matter if it’s link building, PR or outbound sales – this post will improve your success rate. Before I get into the checklist, it’s incredibly important you understand something. When prospecting, there are 2 types of websites you will come across: 1. Website’s with 1 author (bloggers). We would prefer to find a persons email address, but for these sites it’s ok to find general contact emails (contact@site.com, etc). Generally the same person managing the generic email manages the whole site, including the content. 2. Website’s with multiple authors (media). For these sites, we can’t find general contact emails. We need to find the personal email address of the journalist covering the content relevant to our pitch. With that being said, let’s get into the checklist… 1. Use BuzzStream’s Buzzmarker browser plugin We use BuzzStream as a tool to manage outreach targets. They built [what I think] is the best browser plugin out there, the Buzzmarker. The Buzzmarker scans the page you’re on and looks for social profiles, names and contact info. Not only is it an incredible time saver, but it syncs with your Buzzstream database. Download the Buzzmarker plugin here This … Continue reading Step by Step Process to Find Anyone’s Email Address

Up until 1976, it was considered highly unethical for lawyers to advertise and market themselves. 40 years later, things have changed – there’s endless places to advertising your practice (some have even placed ads on condoms or papers used to roll joints). Luckily, the internet has given you options like SEO, PPC and Avvo to market your business in a way that’s more conducive to your brand. In this article, I’m going to cover: Why you should invest your time into optimizing Avvo The “ranking factors” Avvo is looking at when showing attorney profiles Simple and easy tips to optimize your Avvo profile to get more organic views In a nutshell, Avvo allows users to leave reviews (between 1 and 10) about an attorney’s work. The legal community is split about Avvo – there’s quite a bit of negative buzz about the platform: Some question the ethics of it: Honestly, it doesn’t matter how you feel about it – from a marketing point of view I’m telling you it can’t be ignored, for a number of reasons: Avvo automatically creates a profile with reviews from other sites. The only way you can improve your standing is by claiming it and completing it. Avvo dominates organic search. A lot of people will be finding (or not finding) your profile and making a decision to work with you or not. Avvo is a legitimate source of legal information. You can answer the questions asked by people who are looking for help with legal issues, and easily establish your … Continue reading 10 Ways to Improve Your Avvo Rating – Attorney Marketing Tips
